Tour Operators
Looking for something new on the Island? How about a packaged two hour tour? Spend one hour with Arrowhead Carriages, and then be dropped off directly in front of The Original Butterfly House and Insect World where you'll visit with the butterflies, and then spend time with some giant insects, (on display), and fun, colorful, live critters like dart frogs, and Blue Tongued Skink Lizards. And we think the new "Turtle Pond" willl be the hit of the season!
So take a lovely ride in a real Surrey (with the fringe on top!) and come visit us at The Butterfly House. See the "Special Events" menu option for more information.

Good Luck Everyone!
Well, it was tough, and I know that I am late in making a decision but here it is: the Winner of the Flickr photo contest;
And the winning photo is of the orange julia, or scientific name, "Dryas julia". The julia comes to us from Costa Rica, and this photo was taken by Flickr photo contestant "mameisberger". Congratulations!
This photo was chosen for it's clarity, perfect condition, and closeness of the butterfly. And because the photo does not include any flowers, the beauty is all about the butterfly. We like that!
The lucky winner has won a two night stay at Market Street Inn, and free admission to The Original Butterfly House and Insect World for the 2008 season. Please contact Ann, Innkeeper at Market Street, 888-899-3811 to make reservations.
